2023-24 RRCC Membership
ELIGIBILITY
If you have completed one of our Learn to Curl classes or you have curling experience from another club you are eligible for Rutland Rocks Curling Club membership.
Please note: Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, we are requiring all participants to be fully vaccinated. If you need a medical exemption, please contact us at rutlandrockscurlingclub@gmail.com.
How to Get Started
New members and novice curlers are encouraged to jump right into play. Your experienced teammates in your league will welcome you into the club and help you learn the game. Novice curlers will be placed on teams with seasoned curlers. You will always find someone willing to help you and answer any questions or provide advice and guidance.
LEAGUES
We have secured the ice at Giorgetti Arena on Wednesday and Sunday nights, November through the first full week in March. On Wednesdays, we meet for ice prep at 7:45 PM and Sundays at 4:30 PM. Games begin immediately after ice prep is complete and end 10 minutes prior to the end of our ice time to put away equipment.
ANNUAL MEMBERSHIPS
We offer First Year Membership: $25, Second Year Membership: $75 , and Full Membership: $99.
The Second Year and Full Memberships have these benefits:
Eligibility to participate in RRCC Leagues for the year (November to early March each season).
Membership in the Grand National Curling Club (GNCC), our regional curling association. GNCC sponsors curling development workshops and bonspiels.
Eligibility to participate in friendlies and the VERspiel as a Rutland Rocks member.
New members receive a free club name tag and a club pin.
League Fees
2023-2024 Leagues
RRCC members are eligible to participate in our club’s activities—the biggest being league play. As a nonprofit volunteer-run sports club, a 501(c)(3), our league fees are aimed at ensuring the club's ongoing success while promoting the sport in the local community.
Due to rising cost of ice time, the Board has instituted a flat fee for each of our four leagues effective this 2023-2024 curling season. The league fees are directly related to the cost of renting ice time and the number of sessions each league is able to meet.
Winter Wednesdays: $180 (9 sessions)
Winter Sundays: $140 (7 sessions)
We do not curl on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving or Superbowl Sunday. Please check the Club Calendar for specifics!

RRCC Full Member rate includes membership in the Grand National Curling Club (GNCC) and the United States Women’s Curling Association (USWCA).
This very special rate is for new curlers joining Rutland Rocks for the first time! This level of membership does not include membership in any regional or national curling organizations.
If last year was your first year curling at Rutland Rocks, this one is for you! Your second year rate includes membership in GNCC and U.S. Women’s Curling Association, so you will be all set for any bonspiel opportunities.
